European Juggernauts or Jugger-NOTS

Italy and France are two of the most renowned european outfits, both being two of the last three european teams to win the title and both have and have had some of the most decorated players in europe, like; Del Piero, Henry, Zidane, Baggio,Ribery,Buffon and Maldini... However i think its safe to say they both will FLOP :0) in Africa..

Raymond Domenech the French Coach seems to be playing Yahoo Fantasy football, while Italy's Marcello Lippi seems to be interested in taking only FRIENDS to the big party..

ITALY (23): Goalkeepers: Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus), Morgan De Sanctis (Napoli), Federico Marchetti (Cagliari); Defenders: Salvatore Bocchetti (Genoa), Leonardo Bonucci (Bari), Fabio Cannavaro (Juventus), Giorgio Chiellini (Juventus), Domenico Criscito (Genoa), Christian Maggio (Napoli), Gianluca Zambrotta (AC Milan); Midfielders: Mauro Camoranesi (Juventus), Daniele De Rossi (AS Roma), Gennaro Gattuso (AC Milan), Claudio Marchisio (Juventus), Riccardo Montolivo (Fiorentina), Angelo Palombo (Sampdoria), Simone Pepe (Udinese), Andrea Pirlo (AC Milan);Forwards: Antonio Di Natale (Udinese), Alberto Gilardino (Fiorentina), Vincenzo Iaquinta (Juventus), Giampaolo Pazzini (Sampdoria), Fabio Quagliarella (Napoli).

Apart from most of them being close to pension age the italian team as no bite,, The team lacks and "orchestrator" of shorts.. NO TOTTI NO CASSANO NO DEL PIERO NO MALDINI NO NESTA..and the sad part is there is NO ample replacement for them either.. Aquafresca and Giovinco are two of the young italians who would have been sure to turn heads,.. Simply toothless team,, Not in any real contention.

In the Case of France their 23 shows more promise however they lack unison and on field leadership... and this is not helped by the fact that half the side thinks the coach is a JACK ASS :0).. Henry and Govou are the most senior players from whom the leadership is expected.. BUT Henry is plagued by injuries and Govou is not a sure start.. This then leave Gallas and Evra,, for his volatile nature towards the Coach Gallas didnt get the captaincy Evra did, now Gallas is not talking to the team,, Both Play alonside each other in defence so i guess this wil be a case of off field communication affecting onfield communication...

FRANCE (23): Goalkeepers: Hugo Lloris (Lyon), Steve Mandanda (Marseille), Cedric Carrasso (Bordeaux); Defenders:Bacary Sagna (Arsenal), Patrice Evra (Manchester United), William Gallas (Arsenal), Eric Abidal (Barcelona), Sebastien Squillaci (Sevilla), Marc Planus (Bordeaux), Gael Clichy (Arsenal), Anthony Reveillere (Lyon); Midfielders:Alou Diarra (Bordeaux), Jeremy Toulalan (Lyon), Florent Malouda (Chelsea), Yoann Gourcuff (Bordeaux), Abou Diaby (Arsenal); Forwards: Thierry Henry (Barcelona), Nicolas Anelka (Chelsea), Andre-Pierre Gignac (Toulouse), Franck Ribery (Bayern Munich), Sidney Govou (Lyon), Djibril Cisse (Panathinaikos), Mathieu Valbuena (Marseille)
France might Squeeze thru on luck.. but i wouldnt bet on it..
